Honor Community Read

The Avon Lake Community Read Program: Honor by Thrity Umrigar was a month long event of programming inspired by a variety of themes in the book followed by a visit by best-selling Indian-American journalist, critic, and novelist, Thrity Umrigar. The Library handed out 100 free copies of the book as part of the Read & Recycle Program where members of the community would read the book and then pass the book along to another person. The bookmarks were designed to inform the community about how the program works along with promoting the various programs happening throughout the month, where to get more information, and to promote the author visit on March 30, 2023.
